Galatians 2:11
Peter initially embraced the believers who were saved from worldly ways, freely associating with them. However, when a group steeped in religious tradition arrived, he began to distance himself, influenced by their judgmental attitudes. This division created tension among the other leaders and believers, causing them to stray from the grace of God. Instead of walking in unity and truth, they began imposing rules and regulations, placing a burden on the Gentiles to follow the law, even though salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ—not by works or rules.
The law becomes powerless when we are saved by grace. True salvation brings transformation from the inside out. It’s not about external conformity but an internal change—a heart renewed by Christ. Obedience flows naturally when Christ lives within us, as it becomes the desire of a transformed heart. Through this, Christ begins His good work in us, filling our hearts with righteousness and the holiness of God. His presence rewrites our very being, as His life flows within us, restoring wholeness and renewing every part of our lives.
